Terms of Use for Individual Shooters
Version 1.0 · As of 16.10.2026
§ 1 Provider, Scope
- The provider is iqmeta GmbH, Am Sonnenhang 24, 71111 Waldenbuch, Germany, represented by its managing director Otto Neff, telephone +49 (0) 7157 563 111, e-mail support@shootingscore.app, registered in the commercial register of the Local Court (Amtsgericht) of Stuttgart under HRB 748338, VAT ID DE294776335 (hereinafter "we" or "Provider").
- These Terms of Use apply to the "Einzelschütze" (Individual Shooter) plan of svscore.de / shootingscore.app. It is intended for private sport shooters who want to keep their own training records and evidence without their club using svscore.de.
- The customer (hereinafter "you") may be a consumer (Verbraucher) within the meaning of § 13 BGB (German Civil Code) or an entrepreneur (Unternehmer) within the meaning of § 14 BGB. Provisions that apply to consumers only are marked as such.
- Clubs, associations and other organisations are governed exclusively by the Terms and Conditions at svscore.de/agb; these Terms of Use do not apply to them.
- Deviating terms of the customer do not become part of the contract unless we expressly agree to them.
- The platform is developed in Germany and operated on servers in Germany.
§ 2 Services
-
You receive a personal account with the following functions:
- training log, including scoring of targets by photo,
- firearms log (firearms, round counter, maintenance),
- documents (e.g. firearms licence (WBK), certificate of competence (Sachkunde)) with reminders before expiry,
- need indicator (Bedürfnis-Ampel) and shooting record as PDF (Schießnachweis),
- data export of your data as a ZIP file – at any time, including after the end of the subscription.
- The service can be used in a web browser and via the apps for iOS and Android, where offered.
- The shooting record is based exclusively on your own entries and is marked "Eigenangaben – keine Vereinsbestätigung" (self-declared – not confirmed by a club). It replaces neither the shooting book (Schießbuch) nor confirmation by a club or association. We give no guarantee that the competent firearms authority will accept the record. You alone are responsible for the correctness and completeness of your entries.
- The need indicator, reminders and other functions relating to firearms law are non-binding aids. We provide no legal advice, in particular not on firearms law. Compliance with obligations under firearms law (e.g. under the German Weapons Act (WaffG) and its Ordinance (AWaffV)) and observance of deadlines remain your responsibility. We are liable for reminders that are not delivered or delivered late only in accordance with § 9.
- We may further develop and modify the software, provided that the functions listed in paragraph 1 are retained and the change is reasonable for you. Your statutory rights in the event of changes to digital products (§ 327r BGB) remain unaffected.
§ 3 Registration and Account
- You register with your e-mail address. Each sign-in uses a code that we send to this e-mail address; no password is issued.
- Only one account can be created per e-mail address. The account is personal and not transferable.
- You keep access to your e-mail inbox protected and inform us without delay if you suspect misuse of your account.
- Upon completion of registration, a free-of-charge contract of use for the trial period (§ 4) is concluded.
§ 4 Free Trial
- After registration, you can use all functions free of charge for 30 days. No payment details are required for this.
- The trial ends automatically. It does not convert into a paid subscription by itself; a subscription is only created if you expressly take one out (§ 5).
- If you take out a subscription during the trial, the remaining trial period is retained; the first payment is due only at the end of the trial.
§ 5 Subscription, Conclusion of Contract, Price and Payment
- The subscription can be taken out only on the website, not in the iOS or Android apps.
- Conclusion of contract: you select the subscription in your account under "Abo" (Subscription) and are forwarded to the checkout of our payment service provider Stripe. There you enter your payment details and can review and correct them before submitting. By clicking the order button you make a binding offer; the contract is concluded upon completion of the payment process. You will receive confirmation of the contract and these Terms of Use by e-mail. The current version is available at svscore.de/bedingungen-einzel. The contract language is German.
- The price is €20 per year including statutory VAT. It is payable annually in advance.
- Payment is processed by Stripe Payments Europe Ltd. by credit card or SEPA direct debit. By subscribing, you authorise Stripe to collect the amount due in each case (card payment or SEPA direct debit mandate).
- We provide invoices electronically by e-mail; they are also available in your account.
- If a payment fails, we will inform you by e-mail. If payment is not made, we may restrict the account to read-only access in accordance with § 7 after prior notice. Further rights remain unaffected.
§ 6 Term and Termination
- The initial term is 12 months from the start of the paid period (if the subscription is taken out during the trial, from the end of the trial).
- After the initial term, the subscription continues for an indefinite period and can be terminated at any time with one month's notice (§ 309 No. 9 BGB). Payment continues to be made annually in advance. For full months of an already paid year that are no longer used after termination takes effect, we refund the fee pro rata (1/12 of the annual price per month) via the original payment method.
- A termination during the initial term takes effect at the end of the initial term.
-
You can terminate
- in your account under "Abo" (Subscription) using the cancellation button,
- without signing in, using the cancellation button "Verträge hier kündigen" (cancel contracts here) at https://shootingscore.app/cancel (§ 312k BGB), or
- in text form (e.g. by e-mail to support@shootingscore.app).
We will confirm receipt of the termination and the date on which the contract ends without delay in text form.
- You can end the free-of-charge contract (§ 3 (4)) at any time without notice by deleting your account or informing us.
- The right of either party to extraordinary termination for good cause remains unaffected. Good cause exists for us in particular in the event of serious violations of § 8.
§ 7 After the End of the Trial or Subscription
- After the trial ends without a subscription, or after the subscription ends, your account remains readable. New entries are no longer possible. Data export (ZIP) remains possible.
- At your request, we will delete your account and your data, unless statutory retention obligations (e.g. for invoices) prevent this.
- We intend to delete accounts that have not been used for 24 months after the end of the trial or subscription. At least 30 days before deletion we will notify you by e-mail; until then you can export your data or prevent deletion by signing in. You can also delete your account yourself at any time in the app under "Subscription & export".
§ 8 Use, Content
- Permitted use is governed by the Acceptable Use Policy at svscore.de/nutzungsrichtlinie. In the event of conflict, these Terms of Use prevail.
- Content, photos and files that you enter or upload remain yours. You grant us only the rights required to provide the services (e.g. storing, displaying, creating the PDF and the export).
- You are responsible for ensuring that you are entitled to upload the content and that it does not infringe the rights of third parties.
§ 9 Availability, Liability
- We aim for platform availability of around 99 % on an annual average. Excluded from this are maintenance work, which we announce in advance where possible and schedule for low-usage times, and disruptions beyond our control (e.g. force majeure, Internet disruptions).
- We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, and under the German Product Liability Act (ProdHaftG).
- In the case of slight negligence, we are liable only for breach of an essential contractual obligation, the fulfilment of which makes the proper performance of the contract possible in the first place and on whose observance you may regularly rely; liability is then limited to the typical, foreseeable damage. Otherwise, liability for slight negligence is excluded.
- Liability for loss of data is limited to the typical restoration effort that would have been incurred with regular data backups (e.g. via the data export).
- Your statutory rights in the event of defects of digital products (§§ 327 et seq. BGB) remain unaffected.
§ 10 Data Protection
- The processing of your personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy at svscore.de/datenschutz.
- We use service providers, in particular for hosting in Germany and for payment processing (Stripe Payments Europe Ltd.). Details are set out in the Privacy Policy.
§ 11 Changes to Prices and Terms of Use
- We will notify you of price changes for a running subscription by e-mail at least six weeks before they take effect. In this case, you can terminate the subscription as of the date the change takes effect (special right of termination); we will point this out in the notification. Periods already paid for are not affected by the new price.
- Changes to these Terms of Use only take effect with your express consent. Mere continued use does not constitute consent. If you do not consent, the contract continues under the previous terms; our right to ordinary termination in accordance with the statutory and contractual rules remains unaffected.
§ 12 Consumer Dispute Resolution
We are neither obliged nor willing to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.
§ 13 Final Provisions
- The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. If you are a consumer, the protection afforded by mandatory provisions of the law of the country in which you have your habitual residence remains unaffected (Art. 6 Rome I Regulation).
- The German version of these Terms of Use is binding. Translations are for information only.
- Should individual provisions be invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions remains unaffected; the invalid provision is replaced by the statutory provisions.
Withdrawal
The following right of withdrawal applies to consumers.
Withdrawal Policy
Right of withdrawal
You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason.
The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day the contract is concluded. For the subscription, this is the day on which you take out the subscription (§ 5 (2)). Registration for the free trial also concludes a – free-of-charge – contract, for which the withdrawal period runs from the day of registration.
To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us (iqmeta GmbH, Am Sonnenhang 24, 71111 Waldenbuch, Germany, telephone +49 (0) 7157 563 111, e-mail support@shootingscore.app) of your decision to withdraw from this contract by means of a clear statement (e.g. a letter sent by post or an e-mail). You can also declare withdrawal using the button "Jetzt widerrufen" (withdraw now) at https://shootingscore.app/withdrawal (§ 356a BGB); we will then confirm receipt of the withdrawal without delay on a durable medium (e.g. by e-mail). You may use the attached model withdrawal form, but this is not mandatory.
To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.
Effects of withdrawal
If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse to you all payments received from you without undue delay and in any event not later than fourteen days from the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw from this contract. We will carry out such reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement.
We will refund the amount paid in full. We do not demand any compensation for services already provided up to the withdrawal, even if you have already used the services during the withdrawal period.
After withdrawal, your account remains readable and data export remains possible, as after the end of a subscription (§ 7).
